Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel is a luxurious, award-winning resort on the southwest coast of Anguilla. Cradled in the crescent of Maundays Bay, the resort’s Greco-Moorish architecture is set in 179 acres of tropical gardens alongside a mile of powder white, sandy beach. Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel is named after an ancient rainbow spirit, as the brightness of the sun is always shining in Anguilla even though the rains come and go!

Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel has 15 villas which house 108 rooms and suites, plus seven villas. All accommodations overlook the beach and ocean beyond, and options with a private pool are available. Two bedroom suites, along with three and five bedroom villas offer spacious accommodation options for families or groups of friends. Guests staying in the villas will also have access to the resort's exlusive Villa Host service.

Dining at Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel has an excellent reputation. Pimms is a fine dining restaurant overlooking the bay which serves Caribbean and international specialities that make use of the finest local ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Cip's by Cipriani offers breakfast and an Italian dinner menu accompanied by ocean views, whilst Uchu is a poolside venue that boasts a casual lunch menu and a sophisticated Peruvian dinner menu. For a barefoot luxury dining experience, guests can head to the beach and try The Cap Shack's grilled specialities.

Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel offers motorised and non-motorised water sports including kayaking, wind surfing, water skiing and sailing. Guests can also take part in guided nature walks to nearby Cove Pond, a nesting habitat for a wide variety of tropical birds. Other activities include beach volley ball, basketball and tennis, and there is also a tennis coach on hand for those looking for private coaching. Altnernatively, guests can simply relax on the beach and enjoy the attentive beach service.

Belmond Cap Juluca has to be one of my top 3 personal favourite hotels in the Caribbean due to the outlook of the rooms. Each room, suite or villa overlooks the long stretch of beach with its white sand and calm turquoise sea. The beach service will leave you feeling spoilt with their beach cabanas, pop up bars and flag service. Although I only spent a few days at Belmond Cap Juluca it was a truly special experience. The dining at Belmond Cap Juluca is outstanding and coupled with beautiful ocean views, there is plenty to rave about, however, I must recommend their Tuna Tartar!

For a casual dining option, The Cap Shack offers grilled specialities right on the beach.

Beachfront Junior Suites: These very spacious suites have a seating area, a king size bed, a bathroom with a double bath tub and marble shower and a beautiful, covered private terrace with ocean views. Interconnecting rooms are available on the top floor. (102 sqm)

Beachfront One Bedroom Suite: With a large covered terrace facing the ocean, a separate living room, a king sized bed and an additional powder room, these suites offer the perfect Caribbean hideaway. The bathroom features a master bath, marble shower and a solarium. (144 sqm)

Beachfront One Bedroom Pool Suites: A luxurious private residence featuring a master bedroom with a king size bed, a bathtub and separate marble shower, a large sitting room, a kitchen, an ocean front dining terrace complete with a private swimming pool. (232 sqm)

Beachfront One Bedroom Casita Suites: These suites feature a master bedroom with king sized bed, marble bath with a single tub and shower, private solarium, oceanfront plunge pool, family dining area, kitchenette and covered patio. These rooms are located on the groundfloor and connecting rooms are available.

Jonquil Suite: These two bedroom suites offer two master bedrooms, two master baths, indoor and outdoor showers, king sized beds in one room and twins in the other, a spacious sitting room, full-service kitchen, an oceanfront dining terrace and private infinity pool with a heated Jacuzzi. Beachfront Two Bedroom Casita Suites: These suites are located on the ground floor and offer a master bedroom with king sized bed, a twin room, marble bath with a single tub and shower, private solarium, oceanfront plunge pool, family dining area, kitchenette and covered patio. (207 sqm)
