South Point is a chic boutique hotel at the heart of Antigua’s famous yachting scene, the fashionable Falmouth Harbour, which is perfect for couples, friends and families who appreciate luxury and enjoy an active holiday. Due to this lively atmosphere, the hotel has become a popular destination as part of a twin-centre holiday, or as a base before or after enjoying a week or two chartering a yacht (skippered, crewed or bareboat, the choice is yours - read more here).
The hotel is made up of 23 condo-style waterfront suites that all enjoy spectacular views across Falmouth Harbour. Each suite is spacious and modern with air conditioning, a full kitchen, indoor and outdoor living areas, TV, ipod dock and a furnished balcony or terrace. There is a concierge service on hand at the hotel to help you explore more of the island and arrange activities as required.
South Point’s restaurant has proven extremely popular thanks to its authentic flavours from Asia, the Middle East and Mediterranean, but also due to its position allowing guests to sit out on the deck, suspended over the water. If you are looking to venture a little further, several restaurants and bars are within walking distance allowing you to admire the super yachts as you pass.
For sailing enthusiasts, the area is home to some of Antigua’s most popular yachting events and attractions: Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta in mid-April with over 100 beautiful historical yachts, world famous Antigua Sailing Week at the end of April and the Antigua Charter Yacht Show in December. If you are looking to stay in amongst the restaurants and sights around Falmouth Harbour and the historic south of Antigua, South Point is the perfect place for you. As well as a swimming pool, there is a small beach at the hotel while the much longer Pigeon Beach can be easily reached. Once at Pigeon Beach, it is fun to dine at Catherine's Cafe Plage, a well-renowned French inspired restaurant in a gorgeous setting. South Point itself has an excellent open air restaurant where you can relax whilst watching the coming and going of yachts and pelicans!
