The Lone Star is an exclusive boutique hotel and restaurant on the West coast of Barbados. Built in the 1940's, the Lone Star was originally a garage, with the workshop still forming part of the restaurant's reception area. During the second world war, an air-raid shelter was built out of coral stone, now housing the wine cellars of the restaurant.
Accommodation is within 4 suites, each named after classic American cars, and the Beach House which contains 2 rooms downstairs and a 2 bedroom penthouse suite upstairs. The spacious suites have polished mahogany floors, four poster bed, elegant furnishings and private terraces with ocean views, while the garden rooms have small private lawn areas with direct access to the beach and partial sea views.
The Lone Star's restaurant is renowned for serving a fusion of European dishes with Caribbean influences, with a dining terrace overlooking the beach providing a stunning setting for lunch and dinner. Well worth visiting even if you choose not to stay at The Lone Star!

Lone Star is a hidden gem on west coast of Barbados, offering stunning rooms and suites alongside an iconic beachfront restaurant. We would highly recommend booking early as with so few rooms, availability at this beautiful hotel gets snapped up quickly!

Accommodation
Lone Star has two Penthouses, two ocean front suites and two deluxe garden rooms. On arrival all guests will receive a fruit bowl, freshly baked cookies, drinks, coffee, tea and a homemade rum punch. Rooms all feature in room mini-bar, satellite TV, complimentary WiFi, daily turn-down service and butler service.
Deluxe Garden Rooms: Shelby and Corvette: Set in the coral stone beach house, guests can enjoy a spacious air conditioned bedroom and views over the gardens with glimpses of the ocean. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 1 child.
Luxury Oceanfront Suites: Buick and Studebaker: Spacious suites with a large bedroom, separate living room, bathroom with a walk in shower and a large balcony with ocean views. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 1 child.
One Bedroom Luxury Penthouse: Cadillac and Lincoln: With staggering ocean views guests can enjoy a spacious balcony with alfresco living area, an internal living room, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children.
Two Bedroom Luxury Penthouse: Incredibly spacious the Lincoln is set across two floors of the beach house. Guests can enjoy a large living area, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Maximum occupancy: 5 adults or 4 adults + 2 children.
Beach House: The Beach House can be taken as a whole, accommodating 8/9 guests in 4 separate en-suite rooms complete with full kitchen. Alternatively, the downstairs can be configured as 2 separate / interconnecting rooms. Upstairs can be rented separately as a 2 bedroom penthouse suite.
