Palm Island Resort & Spa is one of the southernmost islands in the Grenadines about a mile from Union Island, offering guests access to five magical beaches with bright white sand merging into vibrant turquoise seas. The all-inclusive adult-only resort offers a laid back, luxurious holiday on an island which only accessible by boat, giving a hideaway feeling that starts from the moment you dock. Palm Island was named 'St Vincent & the Grenadines' Leading Boutique Hotel' at the 2017 World Travel Awards.

Palm Island consists of only 43 rooms, suites and villas dotted across the island, some with views through the gardens towards the beach and many with unobstructed views of the sea; all having a private terrace or wrap around deck. Most accommodation is furnished in a simple, typically Caribbean manner, while many of the beachfront rooms have recently been refurbished in a more contemporary, beach chic style to become Superior Beachfront Room. Island Lofts are spacious wooden cottages which are set on stilts just back from the beach, while a small number of spacious villas are found in secluded locations across the island. A new addition for 2022, is Seahorse Villa. This 2-bedroom beachfront villa is fully equipped with a stocked pantry and cellar, dedicated household staff and private golf buggy.

There are two restaurants on Palm Island which have both recently been updated and are open air to make the most of the setting. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, The Royal Palm Restaurant serves a range of international cuisine using local produce where possible, and hosts live music most evenings.  A more casual choice is The Sunset Restaurant, set right on the sand with a beach-chic style and serving lunch daily as well as dinner on certain evenings.  For something special, a private beach picnic can be set up on one of the island's isolated beaches.

A popular way for guests to spend their days at Palm Island Resort & Spa is to relax on the main beach, where plentiful sun loungers offer stunning sea views. There are plenty of secluded seafront spots around the island which can be reached on foot or by bicycle, of which there are plenty for guests to borrow - a number of shady hammocks are dotted alongside white sands overlooking turquoise seas. The lagoon style swimming pool offers an alternative setting for relaxation. Guests in search of activity can go snorkelling in the warm Caribbean waters, take part in a range of non-motorised watersports or climb the rocky hillside trails to find panoramic views across the island and out to sea.

Due to its location in the heart of the Grenadines, Palm Island is in a prime position for guests to visit the surrounding islands. We highly recommend an evening sunset cruise, a lobster lunch at Petit St Vincent or a day snorkelling the Tobago Cays, a world-renowned dive spot known for its extensive marine life including turtles.

With much birdlife, ground lizards and iguanas among fan palms, hibiscus and over 2,000 coconut palm trees, Palm Island Resort & Spa offers a truly natural Caribbean experience in the Grenadines.

Palm Island recently opened a new beachfront spa, located beside one of the island's most spectacular beaches overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. It has two treatment rooms, one of which has a jacuzzi on the terrace, perfect for stargazing or watching the sunset over the Grenadines. The spa uses two product lines; Aromatherapy and the resort's all natural Blue Naturals range which contains Hibiscus, also known as 'Botox of the Caribbean'. The spa offers a variety of relaxing treatments, a perfect addition to your relaxing holiday at Palm Island Resort & Spa.

Our Opinion

Palm Island absolutely blew me away - from the lovely crew on the boat from Union Island to the welcome at the jetty on arrival with warm smiles and cold rum punches. The staff were fantastic and seem to genuinely enjoy working there. All rooms (even those 'further back' are just steps from the beach, and you are surrounded by wildlife. Cycling around the island was amazing and had me in tears at 7am while we were exploring. In short, amazing!
