Almond Smugglers Cove is on the northwest coast of St Lucia and just 35 minutes from the capital Castries and 90 minutes from Hewanorra International Airport. This spacious village style resort is located on a 60 acre estate with lush tropical gardens on a secluded sandy beach and offers a quality all inclusive holiday for singles, couples and families.
Almond guests have a choice of five restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinner and five bars including a swim-up pool bar all serving branded drinks, cocktails and soft drinks as part of the premium all inclusive programme.
All rooms are located in single storey buildings set in the lush tropical gardens or overlooking Smugglers cove, all are newly refurbished with king or twin beds and have patios, air-conditioning, private bath/shower or walk-in-shower and TV - they even provide beach towels!
Smugglers Cove has six freshwater swimming pools (one exclusively for adults over 16 years and a children's pool with a 100ft waterslide). Enjoy snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, banana boat rides, waterskiing and free green fees at the nearby St. Lucia Golf and Country Club (until 1st Jan 2011, limited to three free 18-hole rounds per seven day stay, compulsory cart fee charges apply). The hotel has it's own Raquet Club with seven tennis courts, a squash court, fitness centre and the Destination Spa for some great treatments including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. Spa packages can be purchased in advance.
The Almond Kid's Club is part of the all inclusive package and provides educational fun to children of all ages keeping them entertained with playgrounds, pools and fully equipped activity centres. there's also a nursery for babies 0-23 months. All staff are fully qualified so guests can rest assured that their children are being well looked after.
