Situated on the west coast of Antigua and just 25 minutes from the Airport, Sugar Ridge is on a natural hillside bordered with sugar cane and colourful flora. The breathtaking views from the resort are far reaching over the Caribbean Sea and neighbouring islands.
All 60 rooms are wrapped around the hillside with natural landscaping providing seclusion and privacy offering spectacular views and spacious verandas with daybed and dining area. Rooms are decorated in a modern contemporary style with muslin draped four poster king sized bed, rich dark woods contrasting with neutral tones and tiled floors. Some with private plunge pools.
The resort has two restaurants, Carmichael's and Sugar Club. Carmichael's is an open-air fine dining restaurant elevated above the hilltop and a perfect place to watch the sunset over dinner. The menu of international dishes with Caribbean flavours uses fresh ingredients from the local market. In contrast the Sugar Club is located at the heart of the resort overlooking the main pool area with high ceilings, shutters and a large veranda - a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The Spa at Sugar Ridge provides a wide variety of treatments using Aveda products for massage, holistic therapies, manicures and pedicures in five fully equipped treatment rooms.

"The accommodation at Sugar Ridge is contemporary but homely and extremely beautiful and the food at the restaurant is fabulous. A regular shuttle service runs down to the beach (which takes a couple of minutes) and down to Jolly Harbour (10 minutes away). In my opinion Sugar Ridge is an ideal location for anyone wishing to be a bit more independent and explore the island and all it has to offer."
