Siboney Beach Club

At a Glance

When Tony Johnson sailed into Antigua from England in the early 1950s, he intended to stay for a few weeks. Today, 40 years later, having restored and built some of the island's finest resorts, he owns a unique boutique hotel set in a lush tropical garden on Dickenson Beach.

Each of the 12 comfortable suites has an air-conditioned bedroom with king size or twin beds, pullman kitchenette, separate lounge with plant-filled patio or balcony looking out over the lushly stocked tropical gardens. Rooms 5 and 9, at the western end of the development have sea views - the sound of waves lapping on the beach can be heard from those without an ocean view. The garden also features an attractive fresh water swimming pool.

A few yards from the hotel is an excellent, palm-fringed white sand beach, with a splendid waterfront restaurant - the superb 'Coconut Grove' - deservedly acclaimed for its excellent gourmet food and laid-back atmosphere.

Other attractions for the guest's enjoyment are sailing (with tuition), windsurfing and scuba diving. All of these activities can be arranged upon request (at extra cost).

For an unforgettable Caribbean wedding, Siboney offers individual packages - get married barefoot on the sand or in a tropical mini-jungle, bring family and friends or have a ceremony with just the two of you, Siboney will help in the planning and preparation of your perfect day.
