Take time out and visit one of the Botanical Gardens. There are a number of Historical and cultural sites allowing visitors to step back in time and experience the genteel life of the Great Houses of historic plantations or visit Firefly, once owned by the Sit Noel Coward.
Alternatively those visitors looking for more activity can visit the Blue Mountains and explore by horseback or ride bareback into the sea on a beach ride. Hike through historic caves and view their intriguing rock formations and grottos in the caverns.
There are a number of marine and adventure parks offering something for everyone from swimming with dophins to gliding on the 'Sky Explorer' chairlift up and down the mountain, bobsledge on tracks through the rainforest and zipline through the treetops. Kayaking, rivertubing, scuba diving, snorkeling, river rafting, hiking, sport fishing, cycling, surfing, golf and birdwatching are just a few of the activities.
If it's shopping you're looking for during your stay you'll find a little souvenir from the island by Jamaican artists and craftsmen or luxurious designer handbags or purfumes from the duty free shops
