When you book your holiday to Antigua we will send you the 'Summer Gold' card and information pack. The card is valid from 1st June - 30th September 2010 and enables you to experience more than just the beach on your trip to Antigua - it includes discounts for car rental, hotel day passes, diving trips, duty free shopping, spa treatments, restaurant discounts, tours, excursions and yacht charters. Limited to one per adult over 18 years of age.



Antigua, the largest of the Leeward Islands group, lies about 1000 miles north of the equator almost at the heart of the Caribbean. It has an average yearly rainfall of 28in, is one of the driest islands in the Caribbean, and has very good hotels to fit most budgets. Antigua proudly boasts of having a perfect white sand beach for every day of the year! This makes Antigua a great choice as a holiday island.

A tour of the island offers a unique insight into the culture, customs and courtesy of the local people. The markets are constantly busy, the houses brightly decorated and cricket - Viv Richards is their most famous sportsman - is played wherever flat ground can be found. Antigua has been independent since 1981, but remains a member of the British Commonwealth.

July and August is Carnival time in Antiqua  -  a spectacular street party with exciting steel band and calypso competitions featuring the island's best musicians and performers.
