Blue Waters Resort & Spa is a popular, family owned hotel on the northeast corner of Antigua, set within 17 acres of tropical gardens wrapped around Soldiers Bay. The luxury resort provides the highest standard of service with a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere.

Blue Waters has the most versatile accommodation on the island, with rooms, suites, villas and penthouses. All of the accommodation caters for luxury living, from the spacious Luxury Suites to the Cove Suites with their private access to four infinity pools and bars, to its exclusive villas and cottages. Rock Cottage is an exclusive and luxurious option, boasting five bedrooms plus a private infinity pool and outdoor seating areas.

Blue Waters Resort offers a range of dining choices in its three restaurants and two additional bars. The Palm Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner and overlooks the Caribbean Sea. Outside on the cliff top is The Cove Restaurant, where guests can choose to enjoy the breathtaking scenery whilst dining on Caribbean and French cuisine. The Reef Restaurant is the newest addition to the resort's dining options. The restaurant is open daily for lunch, serving light dishes including salads and flatbreads al fresco with views over the sea, and guests can also order lunch to be delivered directly to their sunbed.

The spa at Blue Waters offers a range of massages and other treatments in conjunction with Elemis. There are also seven freshwater swimming pools and three secluded beaches on which to relax, while guests seeking to be more active can make use of the tennis court, gym and take part in non-motorised water sports.

Evening entertainment includes the Manager’s cocktail parties and entertainment such as steel pan bands accompanying Sunday brunches.The team at Blue Water’s will also be happy to arrange any tours or excursions that guests wish to go on. Golf is available at the nearby Cedar Valley Golf Course and the concierge team will be happy to book this for you at discounted rates.

This is a really lovely property. Everything looked so well maintained and the gardens were stunning. The resort feels incredibly spacious and although they were quite full when I was there, the grounds never felt busy. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were so friendly.

Hotel Information

Children: Children are welcome at Blue Waters all year. There is a Kids Club for children aged between 5 - 11 years and also a games room. Childcare and nanny services are available at an additional cost.

Airport: Blue Waters Resort is approximately 15 minutes from Antigua’s airport.

Location: Set in a 17 acre plot with three secluded bay beaches on the north of the Island. Blue Waters is 4 miles from the capital of St Johns.

Minimum Stay: There is a minimum 3 night stay requirement all year round. Over the festive period there is a minimum of 10 or 7 nights depending on the date of arrival. 7 night minimum stay for Easter arrivals from 25th March – 31st March 2024. Our travel specialists will be able to provide further information to you.

Facilities: 3 public swimming pools (including 1 adults-only pool) as well as private pools for those staying in Cove Suites, Pelican House, Turtle Cottage and Rock Cottage. 3 beaches with non motorised water sports, loungers and beach service. 3 restaurants and 4 bars, a fitness centre, tennis court and live evening entertainment. There is also a spa and beauty salon, where treatments are chargeable locally.

Excursions: The concierge team at Blue Waters will be happy to organise any excursions - these may include deep sea fishing, diving, trips to Stingray City, sunset cruises and golf at the nearby Cedar Valley Golf Course.

Concierge: The concierge team is happy to assist guests between the hours of 8am to 6pm daily.

Meal Arrangements: Guests can choose to stay at Blue Waters on a bed and breakfast or an all-inclusive basis.

Dining: Blue Waters has three restaurants. The Palm Restaurant which is open daily for all meals; The Cove Restaurant which is set on the cliff top and The Reef Restaurant which is open for lunch and serves light bites.

Dress Code: The hotel operates a dress code during the evening including tailored shorts, collared t-shirts and smart casual wear. No flip flops are permitted to dinner.

Accommodation
All accommodation at Blue Waters offers a king-size bed (twins available on request), a private furnished patio or balcony and an en suite bathroom.In addition, all rooms have air conditioning, a ceiling fan, safe, telephone, cable TV, a mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, a hair dryer, bathrobes and an iron and ironing board. Interconnecting rooms are available at Blue Waters in most room categories which can be ideal for accommodating families.

Deluxe Beachfront Room: Set just a short stroll from the beach with views over the ocean. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 1 child (29sqm).

Cove Suites: These spacious suites are set overlooking the sea just a short walk from the beach. In addition to a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bathroom, the Cove Suites also have a lounge and a large patio or balcony. Guests staying in a Cove Suite have use of an infinity pool which is for guests of the Cove Suites only, as well as use of the communal pools. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults + 1 child (67sqm).

One Bedroom Luxury Suite: These spacious suites feature separate living and bedroom areas leading to a large double full-furnished balcony. Set by the beach side, these suites have views over the ocean. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 3 children (60sqm).

Three Bedroom Cove Penthouse: With panoramic views over the ocean from the oversized balcony, these penthouse suites are spacious and luxurious. With three master bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom, a spacious living and dining area and a kitchen plus large balconies. Maximum occupancy: 7 adults or 6 adults + 4 children (250sqm).

Pelican House: Set directly overlooking the ocean, Pelican House comprises of two three-bedroom villas providing a maximum of six bedrooms making it ideal for family reunions and large groups. Inside, guests can enjoy a large open plan living area complete with a full kitchen while outside you can sunbathe by your pool or make the short walk to the beach. Maximum occupancy for each three-bedroom villa: 7 adults or 6 adults + 4 children (167sqm).

Turtle Cottage: A spacious luxury villa, Turtle Cottage has four bedrooms with en suites and balconies, a large living area complete with a kitchen that leads out to your private patio complete with a sunbathing area stretching around the villa and a large pool. The cottage is located right by the beach, giving guests views over the Caribbean Sea. Maximum occupancy: 9 adults or 8 adults + 6 children (390sqm).

Rock Cottage: One of the most unique and breathtaking accommodation choices in the Caribbean, the recently refurbished Rock Cottage is situated on a private bluff with the ocean surrounding you on three sides. Guests can enjoy the stunning 5 bedroom property which has a large open plan living area - all leading to the expansive terraces and private infinity pool with incredible views. Glass panelling in front of the sitting area and pool ensure unobstructed sea views. Maximum occupancy: 9 adults + 3 children (185sqm).
