The Grenadines are an ideal holiday destination for travellers who are looking to stray from the beaten path. The beautiful chain of islands lie at the southern end of the Caribbean’s Windward Islands, stretching some 50 miles from St Vincent in the north to Grenada in the south. From the characterful Bequia to exclusive Mustique, The Grenadines are like no other place in the Caribbean and are perfect for a luxury holiday. The waters surrounding the Grenadines are renowned for fantastic snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities, and above all, perfect sailing conditions with reliable tradewinds. Equally enjoyable, yet calmer and more relaxed cruising can be found along the leeward side of the islands, where there are many fine anchorages with coral white sand.The islands are conveniently spaced apart so no passage between them is more than 5 hours sailing time. The heart of the Grenadines is the spectacular Tobago Cays, a national marine park which can only be reached by boat.
Access to the islands is via Barbados or St Lucia, with onward travel by plane and by boat.
