Cobblers Cove

Cobblers Cove is located on the less compacted west coast on its own small beach. A family owned property with an English quaint country decor ( think duck egg blue’s, crisp white linen and clean yet very homely) tied with excellent low key but every whim catered to service and you are starting to build the right picture. Beautifully manicured gardens and a sea view pool creates the tranquil atmosphere. It is also very much worth noting that Cobblers Cove are big on their food- so much so their new chef trained under Michel Roux Jnr and is the owner of many prestigious foodie awards. The hotel also runs a boat service to other west coast restaurants such as the infamous Daphnes, Tides Restaurant or for a local beach bar- Mullins.

The House decking

The House is a contemporary, elegant and intimate ( only 34 rooms) boutique hotel set on the white sandy beach. The service at The House offers an exceptionally personal approach, such as your jet lag massage on arrival, whilst still giving you feeling of beach side chic. An open decking area meeting the beach provides the perfect backdrop for sunset cocktails before moving to a cabana on the beach for your evening meal. A small family owned boutique resort built on the restored 17th Century Fort at Shermans, the hotel is steeped in culture and heritage. Beautifully restored with only 21 suites Little Good Harbour offers complete escapism off the beaten track- whilst still only being an hour from the Airport and Speightstown being just 2 miles away. The hotels restaurant, The Fish Pot is rather famous in Barbados for its fresh seafood and fusion cuisine.

Set on the south coast is a larger and vibrant beach side Hotel, The Ocean Two Resort. With sweeping views over the bay and beyond, the large accommodation provides each guest with the option to self cater and dine on your own balcony ( or dine at one of their four restaurants). Try a meal in your suite cooked by a private chef for a touch of luxury. Within ten minutes walk to St Lawrence gap this hotel is a perfect base for couples who are looking for a bit more activity and want to explore!  The hotel’s secluded bay offers great swimming conditions and is overlooked by a large deck area- perfect for a laid back lunch.
