You have packed away the tree, stashed the tinsel back into the attic and settled into January – but how about trying something new next year? Celebrate a unique Christmas and New Year in the Caribbean where guests can enjoy a range of festive themed activities while soaking up the sunshine.

On the beautiful island of Grenada, guests at Spice Island Beach Resort & Spa spent Christmas Eve exploring the spice market picking up arts and crafts made by local vendors before enjoying traditional carol singing. Christmas morning started with a Champagne breakfast while lunch was a beachside buffet with a traditional Christmas dinner served in the evening.

Bringing in 2016 in style, the Spice Island Beach Resort & Spa kicked off the year with a Gala New Year’s Eve celebration which featured a truly culinary journey, dancing to a live band and a fantastic firework display.

On the platinum, west coast of Barbados, the stunning hotel of Cobblers Cove offers an ideal location for guests to relax and enjoy Christmas with fantastic food. Younger guests at Cobblers Cove spent this Christmas Eve decorating the Christmas tree, while Christmas Day was celebrated with Father Christmas arriving by boat with a sack full of gifts for them! Later, everyone enjoyed a traditional Christmas dinner with a special Bajan twist at the Camelot Restaurant.

Capella Marigot Bay Resort Marina & Spa is a stunning resort in St Lucia, with personal assistants on hand to help you make the most of your experience at the resort. Guests at Capella Marigot Bay Resort Marina & Spa celebrated this Christmas in traditional St Lucian style with bamboo bursting to start off the festivities with a bang on 22nd December! On Christmas Eve, guests were entertained with stories and food from St Lucian culture, before they enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner on Christmas Day.

For an extra special way to see in the New Year, some guests went on a midnight cruise with cocktails, a live DJ – and were in such a fantastic location they enjoyed watching several firework displays to bring in 2016!
