There is no better place to spend a week playing tennis than at Curtain Bluff in Antigua. This year’s tennis week takes place between 30th April – 6th May 2016 when guests can enjoy expert advice from tennis professionals and endless sunshine.
The tennis week has been running at Curtain Bluff since 1975. After initially starting as a tournament for professionals on the island, it has now grown to attract more, high level professionals. The week is run by three of the biggest names in the world of tennis, including Fred Stolle, Owen Davidson and Ross Case, who between them have an impressive record of 34 Grand Slam titles.
Guests attending the pro-am tennis week can combine tennis matches with other activities at the hotel. Days can be spent snorkelling from white sandy beaches, indulging in a pampering session at the spa or relaxing with a book in a hammock.
Every morning, tennis guests can take part in a professional and guest tournament, as well as instructional ‘Stroke and Strategy’ clinics. Evenings are spent enjoying fantastic food and cocktails as well as attending events such as the cocktail party at the private home of the resort owner, dinner at the Sea Grape Restaurant and, to finish the week, the awards ceremony followed by cocktails and the Gala Banquet.
This is a week where guests can enjoy playing on palm tree-fringed tennis courts with professional guidance. As a week, it’s game, set and match for tennis fans who want to enjoy their sport on the stunning island of Antigua!
