Monday 12 June – Canopy Hike Adventure

Trek through the rainforest with an experienced guide who will describe the life cycle of the forest. Learn about the diversity of the natural habitat then take a refreshing dip by a waterfall or relax on a river bank. $65 per person.

Tuesday 13 June – Pigeon Island Kayak Adventure

Kayak across to Pigeon Island National Park, one of the island’s national landmarks. Once here, you can swim or snorkel in safe waters – Pigeon Island’s beaches are also the perfect place to sunbathe or relax in the shade. $55 per person.

Thursday 15 June – Rainforest Cycling Adventure

Enjoy a unique St Lucian experience by cycling along forest trails towards Dennery Waterfall. This is one of the most spectacular waterfalls on the island, where visitors will feel invigorated after swimming in the pool. $65 per person.

Friday 16 June – Marigot Bay Snorkeling Adventure

Enjoy a snorkelling trip from Marigot Bay, where you witness a beautiful underwater world including colourful corals, hundreds of fish and possible turtles. $57 per person.

Refreshments and transfers are included with all the activities mentioned above. These adventures are in addition to the experiences that are on offer throughout the year at East Winds, some of which are included in the all-inclusive rate.


East Winds is a premium all-inclusive hotel in an authentic setting, with accommodation in charming cottages which are set amongst acres of tropical gardens leading down to a secluded, sandy beach. Evening cocktail reception: Meet fellow guests and resort staff while you enjoy a glass of champagne and hors d’oeuvres.
Guided walk: Take part in a guided walk through the area surrounding the resort.
Rum tasting: Learn about local rum and sample some of St Lucia’s finest rum products.
Cookery class: Learn to cook with local chefs and sample a selection of dishes.
Champagne cocktails: Enjoy a selection of pre-dinner champagne cocktails.
Beach party & barbeque: Enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail accompanied by island inspired hors d’oeuvres then watch your dinner be prepared at the outdoor barbeque pit, accompanied by local music.
Cocktail class: Learn how to make some of the island’s favourite cocktails with talented bartenders.

Chargeable weekly activities

Island tour: Visit Stony Hill, one of St Lucia’s most beautiful attractions which is home to lush gardens, stunning orchids and panoramic views over Rodney Bay Marina. Next, visit Gros Islet where you learn about the history of steel pan music and have a go yourself. $75 per person.
Boat trip to the Pitons: Enjoy a coastal cruise including snorkelling at Anse Cochon, a close up view of Gros and Petit Piton, lunch on board the boat and a visit to St Lucia’s drive in volcano and Toraille Falls. $150 per person
Plantation tour: Take in panoramic views of Vieux Fort from Moule-a-Chique, then move on to Morne Coubaril where you find out how coconuts are processed into margarine, soap and oil, as well as how cocoa is turned into chocolate. $80 per person.
Dolphin & whale watching: Go on a boat trip in the hope of seeing pods of dolphins as well as whales in their natural habitat, then stop off in Marigot Bay on the way back to the hotel. $110 per person.
Garden tour: Explore the gardens of East Winds with the resort’s head gardener.
Sunset cruise: Enjoy breathtaking views accompanied by cocktails and appetizers. $80 per person.
Rum distillery tour: Visit a distillery in Roseau Valley to find out how sugar cane is processed into rum and other rum-based products, followed by a tasting session. $50 per person.
Shopping trip: Visit some of the must see shopping spots in St Lucia – browse handmade pottery at Pink Plantation House and art at Eudovic Art Studio. $20 per person.
Snorkeling tour: Discover an amazing underwater world, where you will witness a huge variety of fish and sea creatures. $50 per person.
Pilates and yoga sessions are also each held two mornings each week in the yoga studio and are free of charge.

7 nights from £2495 per person departing 11 June 2017. Sample price includes flights, transfers and all-inclusive, based on two people sharing a Superior Garden Cottage Room. Supplements for activities are payable locally.
