The gardens at East Winds also play an important role in delivering the finest, locally produced cuisine. Dishes served in the restaurant are sometimes paired with fresh vegetables and fruits from the resort’s own kitchen garden – it doesn’t get much more locally produced than that!
For those interested in learning more about the gardens, there are weekly tours lead by Sylvanus, the Head Gardener, who delights guests with his stories about the history of the gardens. For those who prefer to explore the gardens at their own leisurely pace, there is a guidebook available in each room which details all the plants that can be found in the garden.
