South Beach is a modern hotel on the south coast of Barbados, part of the Ocean Hotels portfolio along with O2 Beach Club & Spa and Sea Breeze Beach House. Accommodation consists of junior suites and suites which all have fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes as well as a balcony overlooking the pool. The property is ideal for guests looking for a chic and comfortable base in which to relax and explore the surrounding area. Families are welcomed and well-catered for, with the first child under 16 staying free of charge when sharing with two adults.
South Beach stands opposite the popular Accra Beach, with complimentary sun loungers provided for hotel guests and small waves which allow for body boarding as well as safe swimming. A number of water sports are available along the beach.
Running alongside the hotel building is a fantastic pool which has a shallow area for children, surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers and umbrellas. South Beach's restaurant offers a breakfast menu with a choice of hot and cold options included in the room rate, along with light bites and snacks from the all-day menu, available at an extra charge. The hotel's prime location is further enhanced by the close proximity to shops, renowned restaurants and exciting nightlife.

Everything at South Beach feels very fresh and stylish! I really like the fact that all the suites have at least a kitchenette (the one and two bedrooms suites have a full kitchens) – it gives you the flexibility to cook for yourself occasionally which can be great if you are staying on a bed and breakfast basis. The location of this hotel is great too as you have easy access to the south coast boardwalk, a range of shops, restaurants and some great nightlife.

Children: Children are welcome all year round and a babysitting service is available on request.
Transfers: Just 10 minutes from the airport.
Check In/Out: Guests are kindly asked to check in from 3pm and check out by 11am.
Dining: South Beach has a restaurant in the resort that serves breakfast, light bites and snacks from the all-day menu and lunch until 3pm. Dining can be enjoyed in the comfort of the air-conditioned restaurant or poolisde on a lounger shaded by large umbrellas.
Facilities and Services: Twice daily cold towel service, poolside bar service, onsite conference and banquet facility, fitness room, Wi-Fi, free use of washer and dryer on every floor, guest discount and preferential tee times at Barbados Golf Club, nearby convenience store and ATM, daily housekeeping service, babysitting services, complimentary towels, pre-arrival grocery service available on request and in-room spa services can also be booked and paid for locally.

All South Beach room categories feature self-catering facilities, as well as balconies overlooking the expansive pool. All room categories are fully air-conditioned and are equipped with the following amenities: fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, granite kitchen countertops, complimentary Wi-Fi access, cable, ceiling fan, in-room safe, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, direct dial telephone, daily housekeeping services, welcome coffee and tea tray, cribs and highchairs are also available on request.
Junior Suite: One King-size bed and Queen-size pull out sofa bed completes these spacious studios. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children (46sqm).
One Bedroom Suite: The One Bedroom Suite compromises of a private bedroom with a King-size bed and a Queen-size sofa bed in a separate living area. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults (65sqm).
Two Bedroom Suite: Two Bedroom Suites are available on request and are an exceptional value, combining a studio and one bedroom suite by an interconnecting door for optimum space and comfort, an excellent option for families. Maximum occupancy: 6 adults (120sqm).
