Fact File»

Zandoli Inn sustained some damage as a result of Hurricane Maria and it is unknown when the hotel will reopen. Please contact the Tropic Breeze team to discuss alternative holiday options.

As tourism is such an important industry for Dominica, we will continue to support our travel partners and are hopeful that all hotels that have been affected by the recent storms will be able to repair and rebuild quickly - please call our friendly team on 01752 880 880 if you have any questions about future travel to the Dominica.

Zandoli Inn is a small hotel close to the fishing village of Fond St. Jean on the southeast coast of Dominica.  Named after a small indigenous lizard, Zandoli is set in six acres above a 2,000 foot stretch of rugged shoreline and offers a perfect retreat with the most amazing views of the ocean, mountains and forest.
The inn is Caribbean/Mediterranean in style, simple but exquisitely designed. The five spacious guest rooms have great sea views, fully opening jalousie windows and private bathrooms with solar hot water showers.
Dominica provides wonderful organic produce and Zandoli is no exception.  The simple meals use the freshest food including fish landed at the neighbouring village, island-raised chicken and locally grown vegetables, herbs and fruits. Evening dinner is a four course event using the finest ingredients Dominica has to offer.
Dominica is the most mountainous and rugged of the Caribbean islands - home to forests, pristine rivers and brightly coloured tropical birds to spot from the numerous walking trails across the island.  Following the paths which criss-cross the Zandoli estate, hummingbirds, young date palms, vanilla vines, nutmeg and avocado trees can all be found.  For a little more adventure, wander down the (very steep) steps to the boulder lined beach and snorkel from the smooth rocks before returning for a relaxing dip in the hotel plunge pool.
The staff at Zandoli provide a warm welcome and personal service throughout your stay.  They are happy to share their island knowledge and experience and will help guests plan their activities, arrange for hire vehicles or suggest local bus links.  Zandoli Inn strives to be environmentally responsible.  Composting, rainwater collection, energy saving lighting, solar hot water and no use of pesticides are all in practice.
