Set on the quiet and unspoilt northern coast of Grenada, Petite Anse is a small, stylish boutique hotel whose owners, Philip and Annie, live next door at the Plantation House.  With its emphasis on friendly smiles, local produce and beautiful natural surroundings, Petit Anse is a natural hideaway.
On the oceanfront and surrounded by tropical gardens with views towards The Grenadines, Petite Anse has just eleven rooms.  Each has ocean views and benefits from the gentle breezes of the north of Grenada.   Whether you choose an Ocean View Chalet, a Beachfront Chalet or the Honeymoon Suite guests can enjoy the comfort of fine accommodation complete with a four poster bed and beautiful views.
From its own gardens at the Plantation House as well as supporting other local producers, Petite Anse serves up a delicious range of local and seasonal produce for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Guest can expect authentic Grenadian cuisine such as Plantain and Callaloo or Blackened Mahi Mahi.
With its beachfront location, swimming pool and Jacuzzi guests can choose to relax and perhaps ask the team to arrange an in-room massage or even a trip to the nearby hot springs and ‘mud’ at Claboney with its reputation for having cleansing and rejuvenating properties.
Alternatively, guests can enjoy hiking the resort’s trails, cycling and turtle watching, especially from April to July.   The team at Petite Anse can also arrange a day trip to the nearby deserted Sandy Island.  Here, your guide will be one of the two friendly local fishermen who will show you the best places to snorkel before catching your lunch and barbecuing it for you on the beach.  The Petit Anse team will also pack you a picnic full of extras to accompany your freshly grilled fish.
In our opinion, Petite Anse is a fantastic option for travellers searching for an authentic and friendly Caribbean hideaway, particularly for twin centres or island hop holidays.

Our Opinion

This is a small quiet hotel in the North of the island, beautiful and completely unspoiled. I was taken back by how stunning the view is across the ocean and beyond. Due to its location the resort feels the breeze making the temperature cooler and also means that it is virtually mosquito free! Petit Anse is perfect if you are looking for something a little more private, set in gorgeous lush gardens, pretty and understated. The 11 rooms are staggered with dazzling views of the ocean and each feature a four poster bed, and the staff extremely friendly.
The quaint restaurant has a fantastic lunch menu with fine dining cuisine in the evening offering fantastic home cooked cuisine, using all fresh products grown on site or within the locality.
Being in the North of the Island the surroundings are practically untouched making this a perfect spot to go hiking. If you are travelling between April and July you are also likely to see the Turtles! The pool area is relaxing and calm and features a Jacuzzi, if the beach is more your thing then it is only a short walk away! Do not miss out on this truly authentic gem!
