Calabash Hotel is a five star hotel in Grenada set within eight acres of lush tropical gardens beside the famous L’Anse Aux Epines beach. This family owned and managed hotel is a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux group and offers the highest standards of service. Calabash Hotel is delighted to have been named Grenada’s Leading Boutique Hotel in the recent World Travel Awards, and they have also been named #2 Hotel in the Caribbean and Central America by Condé Nast Traveller’s 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards.

Your Suite

30 spacious suites are found in two-storey buildings arranged in a horseshoe shape facing the Caribbean Sea. The Westside Suites are located closest to the beach, whilst the Junior Suites are located on the upper floors, offering stunning views of the gardens and the ocean beyond. Pool Suites and Deluxe Suites both offer a separate living area and bedroom, and the Pool Suites feature a pool tucked away in a private courtyard. The most luxurious options though are the newly refurbished Superior Deluxe and Penthouse Suites.

Dine in Style

Dining at Calabash Hotel is renowned throughout the Caribbean. Guests can start their day with a unique breakfast either at The Beach Club or served directly to their balcony. For lunch, enjoy casual beachside dining at The Beach Club, where guests can sample a delicious range of tapas dishes, as well as salads and larger plates. In the evening, guests can choose between fine dining in the vine-covered Rhodes Restaurant, or innovative Latin-inspired sharing plates in a poolside setting at Izakaya. Not to be missed are the Caribbean & Grill nights at The Beach Club, where island delicacies are accompanied by Steel Pan.

Activities & Island Adventures

Non-motorised watersports including Hobie Cat sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkelling are available directly from Calabash Hotel’s secluded beach. Other activities at the resort include tennis, with coaching available, and there is also an onsite dive centre. And why not venture out and explore all that Grenada has to offer? Take an island tour, or head out on a guided hike to see some of the islands stunning rainforest scenery and waterfalls. We would also recommend a visit to L’Esterre Estate, where you can take a tour of the cocoa fields and learn how the crop is grown and processed into the dried cocoa bean.

Spa & Wellness

Holidays are all about relaxing and recharging, and there is nowhere better to do just that than at Calabash Hotel. The Spa offers a range of holistic treatments ranging from facials to deep tissue massages, incorporating many locally grown organic ingredients and antioxidant rich cocoa. Guests can also take part in weekly morning yoga classes that take place in the serene garden pavilion, while those looking to stay in shape can make use of the 24 hour fitness centre.
