Peter Island Resort & Spa is set on a private island in the beautiful British Virgin Islands,  occupying only 300 acres of the 1,800 acre tropical island and therefore giving guests plenty of land and beaches to explore. Originally purchased by an avid sailor in 1978 and now overseen by his children, Peter Island Resort & Spa is renowned for its high standards, exceptional service and breathtaking scenery.

The island has five beautiful white sand beaches: Deadman’s beach with its mile-long crescent of white sand, Little Deadman’s Beach which is perfect for swimming or watching the passing yachts, White Bay Beach fantastic for swimming and lunch time picnics, Honeymoon beach which is secluded and romantic and Big Reef Beach with its majestic waters and white sandy shores.

Peter Island Resort & Spa offers a beautiful choice of accommodation from the Deluxe Ocean View Rooms with stunning views, the Beach Front Junior Suites just steps from the sand and the three luxurious and hideaway style villas which are all individually furnished and decorated.  The largest villa can accommodate 12 guests.

Dining at Peter Island Resort & Spa is a gastronomic treat with an emphasis on the finest local produce.  Its signature restaurant is Tradewinds Restaurant where dining begins daily with an a la carte breakfast of freshly squeezed juices and a range of breakfast dishes which include both international and local specials. Dinner is an elegant affair where guests can choose from the hotel’s wine room with its 300 strong wine selection to complement your evening meal. A gala evening is held on Saturday nights where a selection of seafoods, salads, meat carving stations and delectable desserts are served.  For lunch and a more relaxed evening dinner guests can enjoy the Deadman’s Beach Bar and Grill. This serves a range of Caribbean and international cuisine such as conch fritters, wood fired pizzas, fresh salads and grilled fish.  The grill also operates a beach service so lunch can come straight to you.  Drake’s Lounge is set around the pool and guests can enjoy small plates and cocktails. Celebrating something special? The team at Peter Island Resort can arrange a private beach dinner for you.

A variety of on and off the island activities are available. You can snorkel, paddle board, kayak, sail, dive using the resorts own PADI dive school, hike the island’s trails, grab a picnic and find a secluded spot for lunch or enjoy a range of off island excursions to help you explore the local area. On the island, Peter Island Resort & Spa holds a range of activities and classes such as the Manager’s Weekly Cocktail party, a weekly seafood grill and a range of cookery classes including the new grilling and smoking class.
