Days at Salterra can be spent enjoying the stunning beach and luxurious resort facilities, or exploring the beauty of South Caicos. Activities at the resort range from pickleball to culinary masterclasses. Those keen to get out and explore can take part in guided trail biking adventures, coral reef restoration projects, birdwatching and snorkelling trips. The flats of South Caicos is known as being one of the best places in the world for bonefishing, and even if fishing isn’t your thing, it is worth taking a trip to explore the island’s shallow reefs and uninhabited cays.
The pool area at Salterra is lovely with plenty of space to relax. The resort is also set on a stunning stretch of beach, so you are a bit spoiled for choice really. We did the Caicos Bank Excursion whilst there, which was a great way to experience the beauty of South Caicos - from uninhabited cays to vibrant reefs.

Children: Families are welcome at Salterra. The Salterra Kids Club is open Sunday - Friday and welcomes children aged 4 - 12. Children under 4 may be accommodated but a babysitter is required

Dining: Stays at Salterra are on a bed and breakfast basis. Cobo Bar & Grill is set beside the beach and serves Latin-inspired cuisine for lunch and dinner. Sisal is an elegant lobby bar offering small bites and beverages from midday until late evening. Flamingo Café is open from breakfast until the evening and serves a selection of smoothies, homemade gelato, snacks and coffees. Regatta offers British Caribbean cuisine in a coastal setting for breakfast and dinner. Brine is the resort’s signature fine dining restaurant serving South Caicos inspired dishes for dinner. Jack & Jenny’s is a mobile food truck offering street food for lunch and dinner with a rotating menu
