Four Seasons Resort Nevis is a luxurious resort set within vast grounds stretching from Pinney’s Beach up into the foothills of Nevis Peak. Beachfront cottages and exclusive villas surround the golf course, where guests can enjoy sweeping views of Nevis Peak in one direction and across the channel to St Kitts in the other. Warm, welcoming staff blend authentic West Indian hospitality with the excellent service associated with the Four Seasons brand.
There is a wide range of accommodation, from rooms and suites occupying plantation-style cottages near the beach to luxurious hillside villas with private pools and large gardens. Rooms and suites are furnished in an elegant style, while the unique villas are all individually furnished and designed to make the most of their surroundings.
Seven bars and restaurants offer a range of options for dining and relaxing with a drink, with some produce coming directly from the resort’s herb garden. Dining options include light lunches at a poolside bar, Latin-Asian dishes by the beach, Italian cuisine served al fresco and Caribbean specialities accompanied by stunning sunset views. Oceanfront Mango restaurant also hosts a weekly Reggae Brunch, featuring live music and beverages such as bottomless mimosas; and is also home of the 101 Rums Bar which is dedicated to fine-aged rums, serving a 5 course tasting menu every Sunday with rum pairing. Guests can also choose to dine in their room or villa, on the beach or in one of the luxury beach cabanas.
Four Seasons Resort Nevis is set beside Pinney’s Beach, a long stretch of sand where there are plenty of sumptuous sun loungers and umbrellas as well as a food and beverage service. Luxurious beachfront cabanas can be rented by the day, offering shady sun loungers and a space to relax, perfect for those staying in villas further away from the beach.
Guests in search of activity can take part in a range of water-based activities with complimentary windsurfing and kayaking on offer, motorised water sports including water skiing and banana boat rides, and excursions such as snorkelling and jet skiing tours.
Other facilities at the resort include three beachfront, lagoon-style swimming pools which are surrounded by expansive decks – one is a peaceful setting for adults, one is perfect for families, and the third offers a happy medium with a separate hot tub. There are also numerous tennis courts including clay and hard courts, some with floodlights, with the opportunity to take part in weekly tournaments. The 18-hole Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course is renowned to be one of the best in the Caribbean, climbing up Nevis Peak to offer spectacular views while the 18th hole is down by the beach.
Four Seasons Resort Nevis is a fantastic family holiday destination, with all accommodation options sleeping at least 2 adults and 2 children. There is a vast range of child-friendly activities on offer, including a ‘Kids for All Seasons’ programme offering recreational, creative and educational activities for children aged 3 to 9 years old. There is also the ‘De Lyme’ entertainment centre for teenagers with video games, board games, air hockey and table football.
Nevis is a wonderful island to get out and explore with fantastic excursions available including visits to local museums and historic plantations, hiking tours, horse riding and sailing trips. There are also many excellent restaurants and bars that are well worth visiting, including Sunshine’s Beach Bar which is found just a short stroll along the beach and is known for its ‘Killer Bee’ rum punch.

Four Seasons Resort Nevis is a vast resort offering the high standards of service and facilities that you would expect of a Four Seasons property, including plenty of bars and restaurants. I was staying in a luxurious villa with a private pool and golf buggy to get around, a welcome addition for those staying in one of the villas located up the hillside of Nevis Peak!
Be sure to visit Mango Restaurant for dinner, where Caribbean dishes are served al fresco with panoramic views towards St Kitts.
