Beach & water villas

Villas at Conrad Rangali are split across the two islands that make up the resort. Each villa boasts elegant decor and plenty of privacy, whether nestled amidst tropical vegetation on the beach or perched on stilts above the lagoon. The most exclusive villa is the Muraka Undersea Residence, which boasts luxurious accommodation above the sea, as well as an underwater master bedroom encased with a glass dome. A range of larger villas are ideally suited to families, whilst couples will love the romantic set up of the water villas.

Dining at Conrad Rangali

Conrad Rangali is home to a selection of award winning restaurants and varied dining experiences. A highlight is undoubtedly the world’s first undersea dining experience - Ithaa - where you can enjoy incredible flavours whilst watching schools of fish glide past! Other cuisines on offer across the resort’s many restaurants include Chinese and Mediterranean, whilst spectacular settings include an underground wine cellar, beachfront bliss and overwater serenity.

Facilities & activities

There is something for everyone at Conrad Rangali. If you want to simply relax, there is nowhere better than the adults-only pool at The Quiet Zone or the expansive over-water spa. An extensive range of watersports are on offer, and guests can also make the most of the incredible house reef and nearby dive sites. The resort’s location in South Ari Atoll makes this an ideal option for those looking to snorkel with whale sharks and manta rays, which are present in this Atoll all year round.

Our opinion

Conrad Rangli offers everything you could possibly want from a luxury Maldives escape. The range of dining options on offer is incredible and the facilities are extensive. The biggest draw though is the amount of space and seclusion offered by the two natural islands that make up the resort.

Villas at Conrad Rangali are spacious and elegant, with natural dark woods and soothing tones throughout both their beach and overwater villas. The Muraka

This was the world’s first under-the-sea residence and is set on two levels

Location: Conrad Rangali is located in South Ari Atoll, reached by a 30 minute seaplane transfer from Male

Children: Families are very welcome at Conrad Rangli. The Majaa Explorers Kids Club is open for children aged 3 - 11 years, and children under 3 can use the facilities when accompanied by a parent. The Furaavaru Teens Club offers a hub for teens aged 12 - 16 years.

Facilities: Two swimming pools (one is adults only), overwater spa (on Rangali Island) with glass floored treatment rooms, The Spa Retreat (on Rangali-Finolhu), daily fitness and yoga classes, tennis courts, watersports including house reef snorkelling, diving, catamaran sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, windsurfing, surfing lessons, jet packs, seabobs, jetsurfing, parasailing, knee boarding, wake foil, jet skiing tours, waterskiing, wake boarding, inflatable rides, big game and sunset fishing, manta and whale shark excursions and sunset cruises.

Dining: Stays at Conrad Rangali are on a bed and breakfast, half board or full board basis. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks packages are also available. Ithaa Undersea Restaurant is an exclusive venue open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - advanced reservations are essential. Ufaa by Jereme Leung is open for lunch and dinner and serves Chinese cuisine in a beachfront setting. Atoll Market offers international cuisine with live cooking stations and is open for breakfast and dinner. Mandhoo Spa Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and serves organic wellness cuisine in an overwater setting. Sunset Grill Restaurant is an open air restaurant serving grilled specialities from the land and sea for dinner. The Cheese and Wine Bar is open in the evenings and is set in the wine cellar, serving a selection of carefully paired wines and cheeses. Rangali Bar is the resort’s social hub and serves international comfort food for lunch and dinner. Koko Grill is set beside the beach and offers Japanese cuisine for dinner. Vilu Restaurant and Bar offers a traditional Italian menu and is open for breakfast and dinner beside the beach. The Quiet Zone is an adults only bar by the pool offering laid-back bites and sushi for lunch, alongside a selection of drinks. The Wine Cellar is set two metres underground and offers six course dinners paired with selected wines and Champagne.
