Tamarind Barbados, An Autograph Collection All Inclusive Resort is a laid back property boasting a prime location on Barbados’ west coast. This is an ideal choice for both couples and families who like to know everything is included but still have the option to get out and explore the amenities of the ‘Platinum Coast’.
Having reopened in 2026 following an extensive refurbishment, rooms and suites at Tamarind Barbados are fresh and contemporary. Two connected ocean junior suites are an excellent option for families, as are the one bedroom suites which offer a separate living area ideal for accommodating younger children.
Guests at Tamarind can enjoy dining at some of the other west coast Marriott resorts within the all inclusive package. There is even a complimentary water taxi service that connects the resorts during the day, making it really easy to pop somewhere else for lunch. Alternatively, just relax at Tamarind, where there are four restaurants plus a coffee shop to choose from.
Tamarind is an intimate resort, but it never feels especially busy thanks to the layout of the property. Guests can find a quiet spot in the adult’s only area, where there is a small spa and a pool to relax by. Families on the other hand will love the friendly Kids Club, and there is also a good selection of complimentary motorised and non-motorised watersports available for those who like to keep busy.
Tamarind offers multiple different spaces to relax. I really liked the feel of the main pool area with its chilled music and Pool Ambassador service. It is also a real bonus to be able to visit the other hotels in the group by water taxi and dine at such a wide selection of restaurants.
Tamarind Barbados has 111 redesigned guest rooms and suites on 3 floors. Rooms are stylish and contemporary, featuring neutral tones with the occasional pop of pastel. All rooms and suites feature air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, a hair dryer, laptop size in-room safe, telephone and a mini-fridge.

Sugar Shack Restaurant offers a relaxed setting for a casual lunch. 246 Restaurant & Bar pairs local and international dishes for lunch and dinner, served on an oceanfront deck. Caribbean Restaurant is a South-Beach inspired lounge serving cocktails just steps from the sand. Harvest & Hive Coffee Shop offers a selection of coffees and light refreshments throughout the day.
