Children: Children are extremely well catered for at Curtain Bluff and their children’s club is a Tropic Breeze favourite. Children can enjoy the CeeBee children’s club between 9 am -12.30 pm and 2 - 4pm and can spend their days learning to make ice cream with the chefs, t-shirt decorating, treasure hunts, fishing on the dock and kites crafting. CeeBee children's club is included within the rates so there is no additional charge.
In addition to the children’s club, children can also enjoy a range of activities and adventures with their parents such as tennis or sailing lessons; snorkelling or kayaking. Babysitting can be arranged locally for a charge. Young guests are asked to dine at 6pm on the terrace of the Tamarind Restaurant.
Airport: Approximately 35 minutes by car.
Location: Curtain Bluff is located in the south of Antigua on a bluff (hence its name!). As it’s on a promontory, this means that Curtain Bluff has two fantastic sandy beaches, one of which is slightly rougher making it ideal for watersports while the other is the white sandy beach guests would recognize as being truly Caribbean.
Dress Code: Curtain Bluff is informal during the day, however, men are asked to please wear shirts with a collar and trousers during the evening.
Check In /Out: Guests are invited to check in from 3pm and kindly asked to check out at 12pm. Please note that Curtain Bluff is able to offer changing rooms for guests with late departures.
Facilities: Swimming pool, four tennis courts with professional coaches, a tennis shop, non-motorised watersports (Hobie Cats, paddleboards, kayaks, windsurfing), snorkelling equipment, squash courts, yoga/ pilates classes, access to a putting green, half basketball court and an ocean-front spa.
Spa: Renowned for being one of the finest spas on the island, Curtain Bluff’s spacious spa is perched on the bluff with the water crashing below. At 5,000 sq feet, the spa has five treatment rooms, couples treatment rooms, outdoor relaxation areas and a large jacuzzi with panoramic ocean views. During their stay, guests can book in for a range of treatments including a range of massage options, body polishes, herbal aromatherapy wraps, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, as well as wellness and fitness services.
Business Centre: For guests who may need to work whilst they are on holiday Curtain Bluff has a full business centre with computers and video conferencing.
Internet Access: Guests are able to use WiFi throughout the property.
Entertainment: Curtain Bluff offers a fantastic range of entertainment with seven different bands playing at the resort. Each night there is live entertainment.
Meal arrangements: Curtain Bluff is a high quality, all-inclusive resort. The rates include breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner daily, as well as room service during restaurant meal hours. Drinks such as beers, soft drinks and house wines by the glass are all included. Additional charges apply for fine wines from the wine cellar. Also included in the price are evening entertainment, non motorised water sports (kayaking, sailing, diving for certified divers, water skiing with instruction, Hobie Cat sailing, snokelling, paddleboarding and windsurfing) and land sports (tennis, fitness centre, squash, table tennis, pilates, yoga and aerobic classes, access to a half basketball court).
Wine Cellar: Curtain Bluff has one of the finest wine collections in the Caribbean. With a range of carefully selected wines guests can choose, with the help of a sommelier, the perfect accompaniment to their meal. Wine cellar tours can be arranged by your concierge at an additional cost and are hosted by one of the wine team. A good selection of wines is included within the all-inclusive rates, however, for guest looking to sample something a bit more special, prices vary from $50 to $2,000.
Minimum Stay: Curtain Bluff operates a minimum stay over the Christmas and New Year period of seven nights.
Accommodation
All 72 of Curtain Bluff’s rooms and suites offer guests incredible beach and ocean views which are accentuated by the floor to ceiling glass doors and can be enjoyed from a private balcony or patio. In keeping with the resort, Curtain Bluff does not provide TVs in the rooms or suites. There are two dedicated TV rooms in the resort. Each room features eco-friendly air-conditioning, walk-in shower, mini-fridge, balcony or terrace, safe and complimentary WIFI.
Deluxe Room Ocean View: Set within a two storey villa style building on the surf beach, these rooms are on the upper floor and offer views over the beach and ocean. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 1 child (33.5sqm).
Deluxe Room Beachfront: Set within a two storey villa style building on the surf beach, these rooms are on the ground floor and offer direct beach access and views over the beach and ocean. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 1 children (33.5sqm).
Bluff Room: Set on the rocky edge of the bluff, these spacious rooms have fantastic ocean views from the balcony. Bluff Rooms can be combined with One Bedroom suites to create a spacious accommodation option for families or groups travelling together. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 1 children (75sqm).
Junior Suite Ocean View: These Junior Suites are set on the upper floor in villa style buildings along the surf beach. Inside guests can enjoy a bedroom with a large king-size bed before stepping down into their sunken living room where guests can walk straight out on to their balcony. Through the glass doors, guests can enjoy ocean views from their bed. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children (80sqm).
Junior Suite Beachfront: These Junior Suites are set on the ground floor in villa style buildings along the surf beach. Inside guests can enjoy a bedroom with a large king-size bed before stepping down into their sunken living room where guests can walk straight out on to their patio. Through the glass doors, guests can enjoy ocean views from their bed. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children (80sqm).
Terrace Pool Suite: Set at one of the highest points of the hotel and with a large terrace complete with a Jacuzzi, the recently refurbished Terrace Suite is popular with honeymooners or those seeking privacy. Guests can enjoy a spacious bedroom leading out to a 567 square foot terrace with an infinity pool. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults (82.5sqm).
One Bedroom Bluff Suite: Set above the Bluff Rooms, these split level suites have fantastic views from their terraces. Inside, guests can enjoy a spacious bedroom complete with a separate living area while upstairs, guests can enjoy a breakfast dining area and a private 16 foot wide terrace. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children (163sqm).
Cliff Pool Suite: Incredibly luxurious, the Cliff Suite features a spacious living room, bedroom with a king-size bed and a marble bathroom. Outside, guests can enjoy a plunge pool on the terrace offering incredible panoramic views. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults (139sqm).
Grace and Morris Bay Pool Suites: These two incredibly spacious suites are Curtain Bluff’s most luxurious accommodation. Set on the top floor overlooking the surf beach, guests can enjoy panoramic views from every room. Inside, guests can enjoy rich fabrics, marble bathrooms and elegant furnishings throughout the living rooms, bedroom and bathroom. Outside, guests can enjoy the spacious and private verandah where they can relax on the loungers or soak in the Jacuzzi or new infinity pool. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults (180sqm).
Two Bedroom Bluff Suite: These suites are in the same location and offer the same facilities as the One Bedroom Bluff Suites but have an additional bedroom making them ideal for families and couples. Maximum occupancy: 5 adults or 4 adults + 2 children (256sqm).
