I was really interested to see Blue Horizons as it's not on the beach, but after visiting the hotel I really don't think that this is a problem. The beach is a few minutes' walk away where there are designated sun loungers for guests of the resort.
The hotel itself has good accommodation, with spacious and comfortable rooms that are especially great for self catering. There are shops and eateries within walking distance, while the staff will assist with anything you need. Our meal at La Belle Creole was delicious and the service was impeccable - I would definitely recommend eating here at least once during your stay.
Overall, Blue Horizons is a solid property that is great value for money, ideal if you are on budget and want to explore the island.
I thought this charming family run resort spread over 61/4 acres to be the perfect base for those looking to get out and about and enjoy what Grenada has to offer. As all of the rooms and suites have air conditioning and a fully fitted kitchenette, I could envisage guests packing up a picnic and taking it to Grand Anse Beach, located just a few minutes walk away. And if there's a kitchen essential you are missing, just ask the very friendly staff who will be happy to help - they have a cupboard full of extras With a swimming pool, restaurant and pool bar serving snacks, you have everything you need on hand however eating out is easy as there are restaurants within walking distance, as well as a large supermarket where you can pick up essentials for your stay. Spotlessly clean and tidy, I think the resort would be perfect for independent travellers looking for a long stay property offering excellent value for money.
