LUX* Grand Baie really is unlike anything else in Mauritius at the moment. When you walk into the lobby you are instantly blown away by the striking and innovative design which is carried through to the rooms and restaurants. I stayed in a junior suite and loved the contemporary design and technology in the room, such as the mood lighting in the bathroom. A particular highlight of my stay was nibbles and cocktails at Bisou, the rooftop restaurant and bar. This is the perfect spot to watch the spectacular Mauritian sunset and I loved the laid back vibe around the infinity pool in the evening.
Children: Children are welcome at LUX* Grand Baie. The PLAY club is open into the evening and caters for children aged between 3 - 11 years. Studio 17 offers a parent-free hangout area for older children between 12 - 17 years of age. Babysitting is also available upon request.
Location: LUX* Grand Baie is located minutes away from Grand Baie's downtown on the north coast of Mauritius, just over an hour's drive from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.
Facilities: Guests at LUX* Grand Baie can enjoy complimentary water sports including windsurfing, laser boats, Hobie Cats, pedal boats, kayaks, snorkelling, water skiing, stand up paddle boards and glass bottom boat trips. Speedboat rides, big game fishing, north island boat trips, west coast dolphin excursions, turtle excursions and private water ski lessons are also available for an additional fee. On dry land, wellness facilities include a state of the art gym, group cycle studio, niyama studio for private and small group classes such as yoga and meditation, and a rooftop fitness area with two 30-metre Olympic standard running tracks. LUX* Me Spa offers 8 exclusive treatment rooms, a salon with hairdressing services, bridal studio and outdoor relaxation pool and garden. On the lower floor of the spa meanwhile, guests can enjoy a hydrothermal bath journey, featuring an aromatherapy sauna and steam room, Turkish hammam with heated pool, multi-sensory water path and a deep relaxation lounge.
Dining: LUX* Grand Baie offers guests a la carte dining options across a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and private dining experiences, plus an exclusive nightclub. Beach Rouge Restaurant and Beach Club: offers dishes inspired by Mediterranean flavours and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ai KISU Restaurant and Bar: gourmet Asian cuisine, boasting a showstopping open kitchen and featuring dishes from Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia, open for dinner. Bisou Restaurant and Bar: serving Indian and Arabic dishes and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maison LUX*: located in the hotel lobby serving coffees, pastries and sweet treats, cocktails and liqueurs throughout the day and into the evening. ICI ice cream parlour: serving a creative range of flavours from 11:00 - 18:00 daily. Club Ai KISU: open three nights a week with a bar and dancefloor. Private dining and Chef's Table experiences are also available.

LUX* Pool Residence: Located across the road from the resort, and accessible via a skywalk, are roomy with all the amenities and services to make you feel at home. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults + 2 teens/children/infants or 3 adults + 3 teens/children/infants. 180 sqm.
LUX* Pool Penthouse: From the tropical pool and outdoor terrace perfect for hosting a dinner party to the long list of modern comforts, LUX* Penthouses are something else. Maximum occupancy: 6 adults + 2 teens/children/infants or 4 adults + 4 teens/children/infants. 325 sqm.
LUX* Pool Villa: Tucked away in tropical gardens and by the north coast’s prettiest beach, these villas have as many perks as they are well designed. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults + 2 teens/children/infants or 3 adults + 3 teens/children/infants. 240 sqm.
