Retro chic accommodation

Bequia Beach Hotel offers a wide choice of accommodation options. Many of the spacious suites, villas and rooms boast sea views and are beautifully appointed with interiors reminiscent of 1950s glamour. For those seeking expansive sea views, the Beachfront Suites are an excellent choice, and we’d recommend requesting a ground floor suite which offers direct access to the beach.

Sample Caribbean fusion cuisine

Cuisine at Bequia Beach Hotel has an excellent reputation. Guests can enjoy a fusion of local Caribbean and classic international dishes at Bagatelle, as well as a classic Italian-style menu at Blue Tropic Restaurant and Bar. The hotel also owns Jack's Bar & Restaurant, a nearby beach bar on the beautiful Princess Margaret Beach which can be accessed by a shuttle service. One of our favourite spots however has to be The Sand Bar - the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail whilst swinging in one of the bar's signature hanging chairs! There are many other excellent restaurants around the island worth trying during your stay.

Stays at Bequia Beach Hotel are relaxing, with two stunning swimming pools available - one with private poolside gazebos and the other in an elevated position overlooking the gardens. Bequia itself is a charming island which is well worth exploring, with numerous spectacular beaches and places of interest. Chartering a classic schooner or arranging a powerboat trip can be a great way to explore the neighbouring islands such as Mustique, Tobago Cays, Mayreau, Canouan, St. Vincent or Union Island.

Our opinion

When you walk into reception at Bequia Beach Hotel you feel as though you have been transported back in time. We enjoyed a delicious dinner complimented by wonderful service and a table overlooking the water - bliss! Bequia is a beautiful island that gives a new meaning to laid back and relaxed. Getting out and exploring the island is easy and a visit to Jack's Bar at Princess Margaret Beach is an absolute must, as is a day relaxing by the stunning infinity pool at Bequia Beach Hotel.

All accommodations at Bequia Beach Hotel have air conditioning, ceiling fans, an ensuite bathroom and shower, a hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, drinks cooler, tea and coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speakers and a safe. All are beautifully appointed with contemporary colonial interiors and private terraces with rattan furniture.

Classic Room

These rooms are in one of the hotel's elevated 2-3 storey buildings set on the hillside overlooking the pool and the lush gardens
These rooms are not recommended for guests with mobility issues

Two Bedroom Classic Room

Similar in location and style to the Classic Rooms but with an additional interconnecting separate twin bedroom
This option is ideal for families and features a large balcony overlooking the hotel's hillside pool and sun deck

One Bedroom Cottage

These standalone cottages are set in the hotel's gardens with a covered terrace overlooking lush tropical vegetation

Junior Suite

Located in an attractive 3 storey building with lovely views over the lush gardens towards the ocean from the private balcony

Price for Bequia Beach Hotel: Low season packages from £2345 per person; High season from £2665 per person. Prices are based on seven nights accommodation in a Classic Room on a bed and breakfast basis for 2 adults sharing, and include direct flights in economy class from London to Barbados, internal flights between Barbados and Bequia, and private car transfers in Bequia

Location: Bequia Beach Hotel is approximately a 10 minute drive from Bequia Airport, reached via a flight from Barbados or St Lucia

Children: Children are accepted all-year round. A Kids Club is available on demand and babysitting available on request

Facilities: Two swimming pools, gym, spa and sauna, yoga, kayaking and paddle boarding (at Princess Margaret Beach)

Dining: Stays at Bequia Beach Hotel are on a bed & breakfast, half board, full board or all inclusive basis. Bagatelle is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving an internationally inspired menu with Caribbean influences. Blue Tropic offers an Italian-styled menu for dinner with live music (open seasonally). Jack’s Beach Bar is a beach-chic venue with a menu based on local ingredients.
